Introduction

The instructions below outline the steps for configuring Aptana for AIR, creating a basic AIR project, and running an AIR project.

Instructions

1. Follow the instructions in Installing a plug-in to install the AIR plug-in for Aptana. Use the following update URL when you create your new remote site:

   http://update.aptana.com/install/air/3.2/

2. Once the plugin is installed go to Help->Install Adobe AIR Runtime... to install the Adobe AIR Runtime (Note this may take a few seconds to launch)
3. Use the project wizard to create your AIR project.
4. Read through Running an AIR application to learn how to launch your application.
