This page gives an overview of the sample projects that are included with the Eclipse Monkey plug-in.
Introduction
Eclipse Monkey contains a number of sample projects to help you get started with your Eclipse Monkey scripting. You can find these scripts in the Scripts View in Aptana.
About the sample projects
The list below describes some of the current sample projects:
- Editors__Comment_Lines.js - Comments or uncomments the selected lines.
- Editors__Replace_Selection_with_Date.js - Replaces the selected text with the date.
- Find_System_Prints.js - Prints out matching files to the Task List View.
- Hello__Bjorn.js - "Hello world"-type basic script.
- Hello__Ward.js - Another "Hello world" type script.
- IO__File_Sample.js - Writes information to a file.
- IO__Web_Sample.js - Creates a new web request.
- Views__Web_View.js - Creates a new web view.
